"We are very excited about our decision to revamp these popular packages and create a well rounded dedicated hosting experience that includes cPanel at no extra charge," A2 Hosting CEO Bryan Muthig said in a statement. "Hosting customers will love the new features included with these accounts, all starting at a very reasonable price point."
Since August, managed, dedicated hosting customers have had the option of adding A2's Server Rewind data protection, which automatically creates reliable point-in-time "snapshot" data backups of servers and sites every few hours.
A2 Hosting announced another improvement in early September, that would benefit customers and the public at large. The company launched "FutureServe Green Hosting," a 'green' initiative that includes buying carbon offsets, encouraging telecommuting and increasing data center energy efficiency.
