AtMail Launches AtMail Alliance - Apr 6, 2009Resellers, SaaS providers and distributors can now offer an alternative email solution than Microsoft Exchange and Yahoo Zimbra.
AtMail, a provider of Linux-based email management appliances and software, today announced the AtMail Alliance, a new partner program for value-added resellers (VARs), SaaS providers and distributors looking to offer intuitive and comprehensive email solutions to existing and new customers.
The company articulates that with more than 15 million email users worldwide, it provides universities, government agencies, ISPs, and small- to-mid-sized businesses with cost-effective, intuitive email systems available in both commercial and open source options. It states that the AtMail messaging and collaboration suite of webmail solutions and support technology includes: email, calendaring, webmail server and archiving capabilities. The company claims that from a webmail system to a turn-key e-mail server it provides companies with all of the e-mail solutions necessary for business activities.
"The AtMail Alliance allows organizations in the web collaboration market to broaden the solution set they offer through a full range of email tools that are used daily by millions of end-users,'' said Corey Bissaillon, VP of Sales for AtMail. "We've designed the program to allow the easy addition of Atmail products to the portfolio of any motivated provider of hosted or dedicated solutions, to expand their service offering and drive revenue.''
It explains that the AtMail Alliance provides a range of benefits to partners, including the AtMail Partner Portal for easy online ordering and access to sales/marketing resources, volume discounts, consulting, training and certification, lead generation programs and evaluation units for field testing and demos. Partners also have access to the AtMail SVN Repository to stay up-to-date on product development and provide feedback directly to the Atmail development team, adds the company.
