Data Centers Canada Partners with Internap

Company's data center solutions and Internap's optimized IP routing service combine to deliver advanced internet services to Canadian customers.

Data Centers Canada (DCC), a provider of data center solutions, today announced that it has added Internap's patented Performance IP service to its Toronto North facility in Vaughan, Ontario Canada. The company states that it operates, develops and manages Canadian real estate to provide turnkey data center solutions, including co-location and disaster recovery, to enterprise customers throughout Canada.

It explains that the combination of Internap's IP routing capabilities and its co-location and disaster recovery provides an integrated web hosting and delivery solution for Canadian customers that require advanced management and traffic control for high levels of reliability, availability and performance. The company further states that these advanced services ensure the optimal delivery of video, Voice over IP (VoIP) and data applications for bandwidth-intensive and high-transaction websites. It adds that it recently expanded its Toronto North facility and provides data centers and co-location with advanced security, redundancy and capacity in a carrier-neutral environment.

The company further explains that Internap's Performance IP optimizes internet traffic flows by leveraging the company's patented Managed Internet Route Optimizer (MIRO) technology - which dynamically determines the best path for traffic across multiple Internet backbones based on network performance characteristics instead of the least number of Internet hops. It avers that performance IP is backed by Internap's 24 x 7 support, certified engineers and Network Operations Center (NOC).
