0. Introduction.
It's time once again for another installment of everyone's favorite
arrangement of ones and zeros encoded in a meaningful format, the
DreamHost Newsletter! Wow, the last month sure went fast! In honor of
that comment, I think the theme for this month's newsletter will be
just that, FASTNESS! So, in keeping with the theme, this'll be a shorty
short newsletter, so you can read it FAST. And in that spirit, I'm not
going to use any vowels the rest of the newsletter. S y cn dwnld ths ml

1. Web Panel FAST!
What's even faster than my NEW newsletter style? How about our web
panel?!
HA, typically, that'd be an inside joke (if you consider everybody who's
ever used https://panel.dreamhost.com/ to be inside and everybody else
to be outside), since we all know that the only thing slower than our
web panel is FRNC'SwrldCPgl,FBNbrthz!
BUT, things have changed! Really, they really really have! Thanks to
lots of real clever optimizations by our development team, the web panel
is now at least 3 times faster in ALL aspects than it used to be! Really
it is! Same server, same hardware, three times faster. If you've sworn
off using https://panel.dreamhost.com/ because it was too durn slow, now
is the time to recant! Give it another shot, it's really wonderful.

2. Home > Access Privileges Improved!
There have also been a couple of other small improvements to our web
panel this month. Although they were both geared mostly towards adding
features and making things easier, hopefully having something be easier
to do should also result in it being FASTER!
For example, our Home > Access Privileges tab is now much simpler to use
and yet provides more functionality than before! You can now share the
rights to a specific PLAN of yours (rather than just a domain, user,
mailing list, or database) to another NDN ID. Doing so will allow that
other person to activate and manage any features that plan allows. I
guess that could be useful for resellers!

3. Users > Passwords Improved!
The other little improvement is you can now get your passwords for all
of your users and mailboxes emailed to you (at your account contact
email address) if you forget them! Just go to the Users > Passwords area
of our web panel and it should be pretty straightforward!
That area has also been improved by the addition of a feature which lets
you generate a new random password for any user or mailbox you have with
us. Anybody whose tried to make their own password up knows we have some
REALLY stringent password restrictions in place, so now at least you can
just let us make a good password for you if you get frustrated!

And now we reach the last segment of this especially FAST edition of the
DreamHost newsletter with our DHSTM (normally DHS_O_TM) award for May!
This month the winner is oddly-enough, a Fire Deparment! That's right,
the Beaver Township Fire Department and Rescue Squad wins this month's
award for their site at http://www.btfdonline.com/ !
Who would have ever though a fire department could make an interesting
and aesthetically-pleasing website? After visiting http://www.hnllfr.rg/
I sure didn't! (that's http://www.honolulufire.org/ for those of you
who still don't get it!) But this site is! It's got lots of pictures of
their trucks and ambulances and employees (is that what you call
firemen?) and you can even buy some BTFD paraphenalia! Go check it out,
FAST!
