I also left because they would ban my IP after a few visits to my site and I would have to wait 24 hours just to see if my html/php code was working right. The support also sucks. This is the reason given why they suspended my free account, without even allowing me to get my data out and move somewhere else UNLESS I pay them. 000webhost owes me money and if you post about it on their forums, they delete it. They don't answer emails, so there's no way to get your commissions.

Maurice Snell ( admin@t... ) | I ran an experimental WP blog on 000Webhost for a few months and at first I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately it was very short lived. The affiliate program is a scam and it seems even those who reach the minimum payout level are not being paid. Iost so many commissions to cancelled accounts and can see why now.
I contacted them about 159 hours of downtime. I was lied to again and again by incompetent help desk staff (all documented on one of my websites) and suddenly without warning [...]

tin cup ( -no email- ) | just to let everyone know the FBI and FTC has started an investigation as of jan 01 2009 on www.000webhost.com and i was told by an FBI agent that 000webhost was hosted in two locations in usa & one location in canada & three locations in the ussr. and they plain to contact the Canadian police and interpol latter this month for charges to be set. i will let everyone know what happens when i find out from the fbi.

John ( johnnyregge@h... ) | I also spent time building online store on 000webhost.com and after a week they removed all of my content. When I asked them what happened, they disabled my account, without answering. After searching the internet I found many complaints that 000webhost.com is a scam. Can someone advise how this fraudulent website could be shutdown?

They apparently say they can remove your site for ,'Any or no reason' at notice.
This is crazy. I spend my time and effort on a site that can be terminated at a whim.
I was using their free hosting, and I accept that free often = crap.
My site was offline and online a lot of the time, but I couldn't afford paid hosting.

Use it only to practice and learn !
I had an account there and I did a couple of websites. I needed some websites online to show to my clients templates to chose. Without a single notice ! they de activated the websites because of "inactivity" !!!! they only let me the free sub domain name that they give in case I want to re activate it. Everything else in the site was gone.

Derek ( derek@i... ) | I was an affiliate of 000webhost, and I sent them several hundred clients. To date I have not been paid a dime. In fact, I have found many people online who have not been paid by them, and not one who has.
If you are an affiliate of 000webhost, please file a formal complaint against them at http://ic3.gov With enough complaints, they will be shut down, and potentially face charges.

dave ( davids_30@y... ) | Was quite good when it ran smoothly. But don't dare query why your site is down so often. Accounts cancelled without warning or reason. Extensive server downtime without reasonable explanation and disgraceful customer service. As they say, you get what you pay for. Avoid.

Goestaf Paul ( fritz.paul@g... ) | Be careful of hosting any website of value with 000webhost.com. Use 000webhost.com for experimental hosting, but realize they terminate an account for "any or no reason" and without any explanation. Do not use their free domains, because of course these perish with your account.
