used 1&1 for hosting basic site during three years. Eventually closed it down. Used 1&1 for domain name registration for .fr domains. Useless. Unable to communicate in French or in English. Lost both my .fr domains due to their incompetence (one month to reply to an email!!). Eventually transferred all my hosting to Siteground.com in the US, and registered domain names as .com. German based company, German based logic. Germanic customer service. 57 out of 58 users found this review to be helpful! Did you find this opinion useful?
