Hello,
I am sorry you had issues with Arvixe's service. The e-mails that are sent out on VPSs are usually informative and are just to let you know what happened on the server. They are not necessarily informing of a situation that needs to be fixed. Please note that hardware failures can happen and while very rare, Arvixe does its best to make sure that when one does happen it is fixed (replaced) so it will not occur again. No data was lost which is one of the reason we use RAID 10.

Instead of cancelling the contract. 3- Their support, They are knowledge people even it might take sometime but you will get the solution. 4- Fast Running websites, we never faced any downtime

I talked to a sales guy and everything seemed fine at first, I even checked online for reviews and they seem to have a lot of positive reviews out there. I was planning on being an affiliate and have about 30 customers lined up to give them. Right now we run our own servers and didn't want to worry about charging customers or support server upgrades.

"The problems with the VPS were caused by the development company and the customer both making changes to the VPS simultaneously while requesting support from multiple staff members. This of course caused a mess. Waiting time in the chat to get support is usually very short. They are open to handle both savvy technical users, and in the other hand, just a simple user like me who likes to post in wordpress.
As far as I remembered, when I was looking for a hosting company, I found Arvixe to be very cost effective [...]

Control Panel inaccessible too. Arvixe blamed failing application pool, then DDoS. Their customer support is very responsive and polite, but not really helpful. Finally, couldn't take it anymore and cancelled my account. Arvixe refused to refund me for unused time referring to their 60 days money-back policy.

We are sorry for your issues. Please note that at any point in time, we have less than 1 server out of 600 under a DDoS attack. DDoS attacks are unfortunately out of our hands as they are originated by a third party. We also employ very advanced DDoS protection so in most cases, customers do not notice when a server is under attack.

The web panel is painfully slow, for example adding a MIME type can take up to 5 minutes to go through. I recently decided to upgrade to a Business ASP plan to get better performance, but it has been a complete nightmare. It took a week just to get me the information I needed to log into the new server. Servers crashed, backups were always at least 2 weeks out of date, and support took days to reply, but rarely answered fully. Tried to justify themselves on technicalities, but at the end of the day, it was lousy service. Ask for a free trial before committing.

1. I have noticed the two sites i run take longer to load than most other web pages. Most of the pages have are not resource intensive or large so i am unsure why this would be. It is spiratic, sometimes it will load very quickly and other times slower.
2. The control panel coule be better. It offers everything you basically need however it is cumbersome.

However, somehow my SQL permissions are messed up, and I cannot create a TABLE. I have tried using Live Chat, and opening a support ticket, and neither have gotten me anywhere. I still cannot create a table and I am considering cancelling my account and using a different hosting provider.

I have always gotten fast and accurate answers to all my technical questions and quick service with the few minor issues I've encountered. It's hard to imagine how the service could be better.
Arvixe provides more than I expected at a lower price than I expected. After more than two years with them, I have no complaints and expect to remain a customer indefinitely.

Only thing that troubles me is that my web site is quite slow when using joomla. Static pages are fine but having to wait more than 20 seconds for my simple joomla site to load is way to much. Tech support responded to this problem very quickly and basicaly they stated that it's normal because it's shared hosting and I should pay for bussiness hosting if I want better performance. We are one of very few Windows hosting companies that even offers PHP on Windows. However, as stated publicly on our website, we do not allow the mail() function in PHP on Windows. However, the function works absolutely fine on our linux servers.
