We operate a state of art data center. In general, we believe in massively overbuilt hardware and redundant connectivity. We keep our links under 50% utilization; when we reach that point we add additional capacity. This allows us to absorb traffic bursts without dropping packets. Our data center, located in Los Angeles, California, is in the same building used by the nation’s 12 largest Internet providers to connect to each other. We also maintain multiple Tier-1 upstream providers; we currently have three such providers. This allows us to route around outages and spikes in traffic.
