Double Backup TechnologyEach server has 500GB or greater backup storage array or disk. Your data are backed up to that disk daily. It allows for the fastest data restoration possibleshould an OS or server failure occur.
In addition, we deploy backup servers attached to 3.6TB or greater disk arrays over a private Gigabit Ethernet network. Each server has a private connection to this network so as not to impact live customer network traffic. These servers are used for weekly backups of customer data. And yet, these backups are rarely needed because each shared hosting server has 4 or more hard drives in RAID1+0 configuration and can survive 2 simultaneous hard drive failures.
We will restore, however, your account per your request, and encourage you to generate backups on your own. The backup system is fully automated and there is no way to guarantee that a particular file or data will be backed up at the definite time. We do not account for incomplete backups and render no compensation for non-current data contained in the backups.

Data Center
Our
datacenter is located in Clifton, New Jersey, just 14 miles from New York City. It is outfitted with high-end equipment allowing us to provide the service we guarantee that we can provide. We can boast of enormous growth potential allowing us up to 55,000 sq ft of pure datacenter floor space. Everything has been carefully planned and developed in conformity with all requirements regarding cooling, generators, UPS's, secondary generators, fire suppression, and much, much more. Our datacenter is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 a year by an overlapping array of CCTV cameras, and datacenter entry is secured by both biometric and card key access.
We own all our servers and they are tailored specially to our needs. We fully benefit from the 64-bit technology using AMD Dual Opteron servers 248 or 250 CPUs powered by 64 bit CentOS Enterprise Linux. The servers have at least 2GB RAM and multiple hard drives in RAID 10 configuration. Our servers run industry standard software. We run Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl etc.
Our network runs on dark fiber rings connecting the two redundant pops. Each fiber leg is capable of handling the entire network's traffic in the event of failure. Each leg can be upgraded to provide a transport capacity of up to 320Gbps totaling 640Gbps of available transport capacity. Our network is consistently monitored 24 hours a day,7 days a week, 365 a year by the most advanced systems and software.
NetworkEach FESX connects via 10GbE to one of a paired Force10 E600's which act as layer 3 aggregation routers. In addition to the direct connections to the E600's, each FESX connects to its hot-spare through a dedicated 10GbE connection ensuring that in the event of a physical network cable/fiber cut the device does not need to degrade its master status and can continue passing traffic through its hot spare thus limiting the amount of actions taking place in the event of a minor failure.
Our network is designed to be fully redundant and self healing from top to bottom. The only single possible point of failure is the connection to the physical server which limits any risk to a single rack or server. Each Foundry EI-4802CF access switch dual uplinks to a Foundry FESX-424 allowing for local layer 3 switching, policy assignment and egress DoS protection. The FESX provides redundant service by utilizing VSRP/VRRP ensuring that both layer 2 and layer 3 traffic has an alternate path in the event of a failure.
