anderen Raum (getrennte Brandschutzzone). Die Diskarrays sind ebenfalls redundant ausgelegt, sodass niemals Daten verloren gehen, selbst wenn eine einzelne Disk oder ein ganzer Diskarray ausfallen sollte. Das garantiert die grösstmögliche Daten- und Ausfallsicherheit.

Hostpoint betreibt ein eigenes Netzwerk. Beim Aufbau haben wir viel Wert auf Redundanz, Stabilität und Geschwindigkeit gelegt. Das Netzwerk ist über zwei leistungsstarke Cisco-Router, die über je eine Verbindung mit zwei separaten Carriern und Peering-Partnern verfügen, mit dem Internet verbunden. Dieser Aufbau
heisst «Multihoming». Selbst wenn ein Router ausfallen sollte, ist das Hostpoint-Netzwerk unterbruchsfrei über den zweiten Router erreichbar. Falls die Verbindung zu einem Carrier unterbrochen wird, können beide Router Daten über den anderen Carrier umleiten.

Our self-engineered software controls all web hosting products. Thanks to the many years of experience of our development team and their extensive know-how, we are able to offer our customers state-of-the-art web hosting solutions. The Hostpoint Control Panel is a simple but powerful administration interface
to manage web hosting accounts. As we develop our software ourselves, we can include the valuable feedback from our customers in the software, and we can respond quickly if for some reason something is not working as it should. This also considerably reduces time needed to implement new features.
INTELLIGENT LOAD BALANCING
On our high-performance web hosting platform, we have separated all services so that no resources interfere with the other. This means that web-, database, mail-, backup-, administration services and others do not have to share the same server or server

Hostpoint operates its own network. During the establishment of our network, we mainly focused on its redundancy, stability and speed. The network is connected with the Internet via two high-performance Cisco routers, each with a connection to two separate carriers and peering partners. This structure is known as
“multihoming”. Even if one router should happen to fail, the Hostpoint network can still be reached via the second router without any interruption whatsoever. CM4all Helps Hostpoint Add Languages - Swiss Web hosting provider Hostpoint AG (www.hostpoint.ch) has launched its "web-o-mat" version of CM4all's (www.cm4all.com) the website building software in three additional language versions. According to Hostpoint's Friday announcement, more than 35,000 of 55,000 Hostpoint customers are using the premium CM4all website builder and with the launch of French, Italian and English versions, Hostpoint will be expanding its market presence in Switzerland, which has four official languages. "In order for Hostpoint to remain the leader in Switzerland's Web hosting industry, we need to be able to offer our customers customized and localized services that create added value using the latest technology," Hostpoint founder and chief marketing officer Claudius Röllin said in a statement. "Harnessing the unrivalled multi-language capabilities of CM4all's technology allows us to broaden our portfolio and successfully expand our market reach in Switzerland and later, across Europe." Founded in 2001, Hostpoint started its partnership with CM4all in 2004. Six months after its launch, Hostpoint reported 12,000 customers were using CM4all's WebsiteCreator technology to create and maintain their websites.
