What is VPS?
Virtual Private Server (VPS) is a technologically advanced Web hosting platform. It performs and looks much like a dedicated server but is for people who want a dedicated server without a high price tag. The VPS system partitions a single physical server into several isolated virtual private servers (VPS). A VPS looks and behaves just like a real networked server system, complete with its own set of init scripts, processes, file systems, etc. The features offered by VPS technology are identical to a dedicated server. In addition, you can even backup your entire server with a mouse-click.

Each VPS client has full root access, can reboot the server and services, install and upgrade software. Other than with reseller hosting the performance of VPS servers is not effected by any abuse or activity of other reseller accounts and domains elsewhere on the same physical server: minimum resources allocated to your VPS are guaranteed and not shared.
