As the operator of a first-class worldwide hosting network, LeaseWeb's network has an uptime of 99.999% which currently offers its customers an available bandwidth of more than 1,5 Tbps. Utilizing one CRS-1 Cisco and one Juniper MX-960 3D core router, the LeaseWeb network infrastructure is diversified, hierarchical, very scalable and yields great benefits for customers by providing the best possible network management. The two core routers are geographically separated in different datacenters, connecting all data centers in the LeaseWeb network to the internet, providing customers with superior network performance. LeaseWeb opted for these two core routers to diversify and to offer the assurance of ultimate state-of-the-art uptime, allowing LeaseWeb to safeguard its service level agreements with customer to the highest degree possible.
LeaseWeb's hosting network takes customization and financial flexibility to a new level by offering 2 network choices. The Volume network includes an economical mix of transit providers allowing for the lower cost to be passed on to the customer. The Standard network includes more transit providers and better speed to those hard to reach providers on the Internet. LeaseWeb can meet all your network requirements - depending on the type of application you are hosting at LeaseWeb we are able to recommend different networks at varying price points and grades of service.
LeaseWeb will automatically route traffic to third party networks via a private peering connection if such a connection exists between the LeaseWeb private backbone and the third party network for highest quality of service. LeaseWeb is also a member of 18 public internet exchanges and has many peering arrangements to insure optimum network performance. If no peering connections have been established with a specific provider, then the data is routed via a paid transit connection over different sets of Tier1 transit providers depending on the network setup chosen by the customer.
Volume Network
The Volume network provides no less than one default Tier1 transit provider and selected private and public peering on multiple physical connections. This network is engineered to provide a cost-efficient solution to high bandwidth needs which do not need the actively optimized and more expensive transit providers found in the premium mix. LeaseWeb supports port aggregation to ensure the most efficient usage of customers’ hardware thus providing additional savings and financial advantages.
Standard Network
The Standard network is built to fit the requirement of customers with demanding applications which require fulll redundancy and the ability to leverage latency, international routing performance, and an overall faster and reliable network experience. The Standard network integrates a robust network Service Level Agreement, and leverages several uplinks and our superior networking design to accomplish outstanding performance and reliability. The usage of multiple best quality Tier1 transit providers, diverse private and public peering allows Leaseweb to always use the best available path with the lowest latency and highest connection quality, thus bypassing any network congestions. The typical Standard network segment is equipped with two Cisco routers, each one connected to different core routers via separate physical connections, and uses both gateway and uplink redundancy to ensure non-stop routing and reachability.

EvoSwitch is a highly secured data center with excellent connections and a spacious data floor area of more than 9,000 square meters (97,000 square feet). The EvoSwitch data center is ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified.
The data center has superior growth opportunities for LeaseWeb customers. EvoSwitch can easily expand to 40,000 square meters (431,000 square feet). The EvoSwitch datacenter infrastructure has been carefully designed to facilitate growth with available autonomous A+B- power supplies, dual generator sets, and backup battery UPS to provide assured continuous power delivery to LeaseWeb customers. The current capacity of 20 Megawatt can be expanded up to 40 - 80 Megawatts of on-demand power. The datacenter is fully protected with a VESDA fire surpression system as well as fire resistant walls and design throughout the facility for maximum structural integrity and the protection of valuable customer server infrastructure.
Green!
EvoSwitch is a data center with sterling green credentials. Its operations are fully CO2-neutral, achieved by significant energy savings, the use of green energy, and investments in worldwide green projects - in cooperation with the Climate Neutral Group - carefully designed to restore the CO2 balance in the atmosphere and preserve our environment for future generations.
Further significant energy savings have been achieved within this data center by using technologies such as Cold Aisle Corridor (which promote efficient server cooling by concentrating and trapping the cool supply air, where it is needed most, at the server intake. By enclosing the entire cold aisle, so cool air does not escape, and the warm air from the hot aisle does not re-circulate to the server intake, we greatly increase cooling efficiency, requiring substantially less energy for cooling.); and Free Cooling (provided by feeding cooler outside filtered air into the data center, when climate temperatures are favorable, eliminating the use of mechanical refrigeration, saving substantial energy costs)).
In 2009, a report issued by the German Federal Ministry of the Environment described EvoSwitch as one of the world’s most energy saving data centers. In the Netherlands, EvoSwitch joined a group of 16 leading IT companies in signing the Multi Year Energy Efficiency Agreement (MJA). The MJA aims to realize 30% energy efficiency over a period of fifteen years.

As an early member of the Green Grid, EvoSwitch is continuously searching for new ways to improve the energy efficiency within the data center environment. The Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) is a standard industry metric of energy efficiency. The PUE at EvoSwitch currently equals 1,5, which is extremely low compared to the average of most commercial data centers worldwide and EvoSwitch continues to improve on it. (The PUE equals total facility power divided by IT equipment power. Lower is better, and the best is 1,0, or no wasted energy at all.)

stef ( stef@q... ) | I had a dedicated server on leaseweb. They had really awesome speed on their servers. All channel is yours, not a shared one. And price was something like 400-450$ for unlimited 100mbit. But setup was disgusting.
It takes about 3 weeks instead of a 5 days as they promised. I had about 15 calls to them. It looks like they smoke grass each day and night. After 14th call support guy told me : "We setup your server but something wrong" . Now i use this phrase as a joke to anyone "Something wrong." [...]

Casper Van Heerden ( coel.arnaud@g... ) | Leaseweb is one of the best companies out there, they host large sites like Wikipedia (look at their partner page) and a support guy added me on Skype to answer my questions 24/7, their support is TOP!
I've bought two servers already from them and the payment went fast, I've ordered 2 custom dedis and the setup time is only 5 days.
I recommend this company to everyone.

Richard ( ossipz@g... ) | People at leaseweb have no idea about hosting, also they are very very expensive, for example 100 mb extra space for 25 euros/month.. crazy
They might have some knowledge about windows hosting but when it comes to linux its a big joke, i had to place 6 phone calls to get the php.ini changed because nobody had any idea what i was talking about
We are now on slicehost (with root access) so I don't have to deal with these incompetent people

Chris Darrow ( msithero@g... ) | I signed up for a new server and paid for the service. I signed up with my current email address and they setup my service under a different email address then what I used to place the order. Then the new server after less then a day went offline and when I tried to get support they would not give me any support because I was not using the email address they set my account up under that I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO. I have sent many emails for support they will not respond. DO NOT USE LEASEWEB.

Yuriy ( dr_plague@m... ) | Their support is disgusting. I ordered server on 16.10, and get on 29.10 (but on their site they wrote, that dedicated servers are provided on 3-5 business days) I ordered server with private KVM over IP card and, ofcouse prepaid it, but they didn`t istall in into my server! Moreover, they have not made it till now in spite of the fact that I try to achieve correction of the mistake made by them for 5 days!
