We started M6.Net in 1997 as we required our own Rapid Application Development and Hosting Platform to build and run our web sites and web applications. We setup servers for our own applications and offered hosting to those who also needed a flexible hosting environment to develop and run their own web applications. We were frustarted by the lack of care of other shared hosting providers and their extremely rigid and systematic approach blocking the simplest of things we needed to get done. We saw a need for people like us who needed to run multiple web sites and multiple databases, custom components – people like us who needed freedom to push the edge of technology without the prohibitive expense of running a dedicated server and network environment.
We were one of the first shared hosting providers to offer multiple websites, multiple SQL Server databases on Windows Servers. We started out with Windows NT4 and progressed with all new releases of Windows since. We have always dedicated our efforts to providing Windows hosting to ensure a clear focus for our management requirments and reduce the training and administration required to manage multiple platforms.
The Demand for shared hosting and our flexible platform grew faster than our other projects and we focused all our efforts on perfecting shared Windows hosting early on. We were one of the first to develop a fully automated control panel and instant setup on the Windows platform back in 2000. In 2007 we made the switch to the Plesk Platform as it provided all the features in a flexible approach that we wanted to provide our customers.

Now I pay less and run my web site on a shared hosting account.. everything works as good as on my VPS.. I decided to change my provide cos I didn't have the pay money for VPS, so decided to transfer all my files to

To top it off in November, the sites are still down (3 days as of writing) and the 24/7 live support that is available through chat is gone. No chat button on the support page anymore. I tried signing up for their service and paid $119 for "instant access" to my accounts, which actually took several hours to be enacted. After logging into my control panel (they call it COPANEL), I was unable to do anything... after I clicked on certain buttons like ASP.net Settings, the COPANEL stopped responding - it simply said "Please Wait. Sales will answer your questions promptly via email, after you pay that's the last you'll ever get from them, except run-around. Plesk control panel takes 2 minutes to load a page - if it even works at all. I immediately requested refund for 60$ - never heard back from them. TOTAL SCAM. And don't believe the fake, glowing reviews here that are obviously written by the guys running the M6 scam, either.

When i submitted a support ticket, it was a vicious cycle of waiting for hours/days for a response to finally be told to "check your code" OR have the support ticket deleted completely.

They not only did not provide services promised, they refused to reply to my request to cancel my account until after the 30 day money back guarantee time had passed, then refused to accept responsibility.
They don't care about providing quality service, tech support or responsibility for their system that spat Plesk fatal errors every time I tried to add email accounts to my domain.
RIP OFF company! Do not use, you will regret it.

I hired a designer plan hosting on july 1st. After several testing I decide to cancel the account. I asked for my money back refund.
Today, Nov 2nd. There is no money issued from m6.net
I person named BEN e-mailed me that the money was issued. I sent him statements proving that there is no money, and I've been sending several e-mails with no reply.
NO HIRE M6.NET
They are thieft.
They stole my money.

When they wouldn't respond to support requests. I decide to cancel my account within the 90 day time period. After 7 requests for a refund and 7 form letters back saying it would be 2 weeks, I was told to get lost and there was nothing I could do, since they are in Austriala(sp?).

andrew ( andrew@a... ) | I have tried to host an active site with this company since Feb 2008 but most of the time the site is either ridiculously slow or unavailable due to variuos reasons. They offer IMAP support in their FLEX plan but to this day I can't get it to work despite a multitude of support tickets. Now my site can't even connect to it's own database and the admin panel file manager isn't working.
I'm not being nasty, just honest. STAY AWAY FROM M6.NET !!!

After a week, they asked if we wanted them to restore it. After we said yes, it took ANOTHER WEEK of them ignoring us before they finally told us that they LOST THE DATABASE and that there was nothing they could do.

I registered with them because they provide ASP.NET 3.5 + AJAX. Initial setup took 4 days whereas on their website they say within 6hours.
I uploaded a small test program but it didn't work, probably they dont have AJAX installed. Logged numerous tickets and all i got was "we are working on it".....
I sent an email to cancel as after using only 4 days i wasn't happy with the service. They said they will cancel but refund will take place after 1 month. [...]

It all started when I saw their website with good offers. Their website looked very professional so I wrongly assumed their staff was too. It said also that they had a 30 day money back guarantee. This means that if you are not satisfied with their service, you can cancel within 30 days of signing up. So I decided to give it a try.

It takes several days to respond a simple support query. They state that they provide 24/7 tech support, but I have proved that it is entirely untrue. The control panel is unusable!!! I already made a decision to change to a different hosting company. Actually I feel that any other hosting company will be much better than this one. STAY AWAY!!!

TJ ( thomdarr@l... ) | First they when signing up they triggered the fraud detection on my credit card, and it errored when I tried to add a new card and resubmit. But the kicker is that though my card declined they registered the domain, so I had to pay them for the domain, just so I could transfer it somewhere else. I signed up, they triggered the my credit cards fraud protection, and then it errored when I tried to change the cc info.
Though the Credit Card declined they registered my domain, and kept it hostage until I paid them for it. It took me over a week to get them to set it up so I could pay the registration fee to unlock it and transfer it, and though I have paid for it, we are going on two more weeks now and they still [...]

Dave ( dave@n... ) | Shocking, tech support consistently takes days to answer simple queries. Control panel is so slow it is effectively useless, ASP.NET applications take about 10 seconds to load, stay away. They broke one of our subdomains, took 4 days to respond to support tickets to fix it. Many more issues but I'll just say don't use them, we finally changed to another host and are so glad we did.
