The launch comes two years after the company's initial deployment of the Virtuozzo virtual private server technology. Myriad's virtual dedicated server hosting platform gives each account its own secure container, completely partitioned from other accounts. Each account provides users with technology like SAS drives, 4 3.0Ghz Intel Xeon processor cores, 8GB of memory, redundant power supplies and root access. "These are the fastest VDS servers we've ever deployed and they represent a significant step forward in ultra-fast operations through our northern Virginia data center," says Jeff Petersen, Myriad Network's CIO. "With this kind of speed, users with virtual dedicated server hosting can achieve almost instantaneous load times for databases, forums, streaming media, e-commerce sites and more. My independent uptime tracking shows the site goes down quite often, about once a week for 30 minutes...I thought that this was a planned outage for regular maintenance, but they claim that the site has not been down at all. April 5, 2009 Jim Davis ( support@o... ) | I hosted with this company for over 3 years on a dedicated server. Then in Feb 2009 them moved my dedicated server account to a VPS without telling me and still charging me for the dedicated server.
Dedicated server is $210 and the VPS is only $60 per month. When I complained about being on a VPS they said they would credit my account and only charge me for the VPS. But when March 2009 came along they still charged me $210 for the dedicated server. When I complained they said it was a [...]

February 12, 2009 Craig ( cmecham@m... ) | I have hosted with Myriad for nearly 4 years. They have been fantastic. I have recommended them without hesitation to many, many people. But not anymore!!
Something has changed very dramatically over there. In four years I had maybe one or two issues which were very quickly and competently dealt with. Now, the telephone support is gone. Email support is slow. Servers are failing. Sites are down. Email is down. Support is non-existent. Totally unacceptable.

This weekend they changed a key DNS server without any prior notification causing all of my websites to go down. 1. Their servers have gone down for over 8 hours, twice in two weeks. 2. They customer support is a -1 on a scale of 1-10. They are slow, rude, and an awful company to do business with. 3. Sure. 99.9% - 100% uptime for all servers on any given month over the past I don't know how many years and the servers are buggy. Just because 1 person has an issue on 1 server does not mean that "their servers" are buggy. It could be the client's computer (e.g., firewall or AntiVirus) . Doesnt mater how many accounts you may have hosted with them either. Delete reseller accoutns with hundred of domains at the drop of a hat. Run by two guys. Not really a big company. Just remember that for every x number of customers, there are bound to be a handful that are not happy for whatever reason. The happy ones rarely say anything publicly about how good their service is, while the angry ones propagate lies on the Internet because they are cowards.

They responded rudely claiming that it was a problem on my end. They told me that I should find another host. (more on this later) The issue was never fixed.
Furthermore, I set up a number of my clients with them. One of my clients called Myriad Network for a problem related to e-mail. Myriad Network responded by calling my client an "idiot" for paying $15 a month for [...]

There servers are buggy, the staff is incompetent and rude, they never want to fix anything and when they do try they ussually cant.
