1and1 are one of the worst hosts in the UK, with the worst telephone support of any large company I have ever come across. They cut ou off the phone, they keep you waiting for large periods of time and then the problems progress. Their very cheap sites are often missing in fairly essential features. I host six sites with them and am one by one removing them to hostpapa which offers a great service. The call centres have no continuity with your problem. They bill you incorrectly, they add service charges to your bill when it's their fault. There is much red tape. I am a web designer and they took one of my sites down during a critical period and made me look stupid in front of a client. PLEASE AVOID 1and1 at ALL COSTS and go to hostpapa instead.
