Trouble started right after signing up: ClickBe didn't work. Asked them to fix it. They made a number of attempts, and did not get it to work most of the time. They are definitely one of the most cost effective hosting providers. Support isnt difficult to get. Site has good speed. There is only one limitation with them that i faced. You are not allowed to send more than 150 mails in an hour.

The support will tell you that it doesn't work through the admin. You need to talk via live chat to update your nameservers. And they say they do it but never do. When I did have a problem, I used their live chat, and they were very helpful in helping me troubleshoot. www.jasonkadinger.com I only have a basic understanding of ftp. and was able to put it together for the $1 mo. excite plan - you'd have a hard time finding web hosting for less than $20 a year!

Every month we have some issues with them. At the beggining it was ok as the Live Chat ppl could help pretty fast. But recently they say "please contact our support techs via this form". And then it takes AGES for them to fix the problem.
It may be good if you want to host your website with pictures, etc.
If you are a business owner go for something better (more expensive) as 3iX will lose you some clients otherwise!!

3ix chat is ok and generally helpful.
Admittedly we have some problems from time to time, so I could not recommend it for a 100% uptime critical application.
For the money it's -so far- worth it and the chat operators help you sort out things (unless something really weird has taken place and they can't). Other hosts do not have chat and you have to wait hours for assistance by email.

Ever since I have hosted my site at 3IX, I'm seeing poor connection to the server. I have aided the support department on the debugging. Every time they response, they repeat debugging request for me without looking back at the history.
It doesn't make sense for me to own something which I can't have 99.9% access to. Hence I've request them to honor their 30 days money back guarantee.

I must say, I have had a few server downtimes in the few years I've been with 3ix - but on the whole it hasn't been that bad. Any approach to live support resolves the problem. My site http://www.spankingallery.com has been up for about 6 months now with 2 downtimes caused by IP lockout - that has since been fixed.
In closing you get what you pay for, for the cost a few errors are expected. They are not the best, but I'll still use them for now...

I've been using 3ix for over 6 months and everyday I experience the server load problems. They do nothing and advice the customers to wait. This is the worst hosting company in the world. Now Its not easy for me to shift into some other because It takes few days to transfer all my files and set up my site in a new server. I'm in a real trouble. 3ix is PATHETIC. Steer clear of this host. They had an apparent disk crash and restored my site to a snapshot that was MONTHS old. I lost all my data and 40+ hours of web development. Not only did they not have a recent backup, but there was a 24-hour outage for my sites. What on earth am I paying them for? Their support knows NADA about anything and is known for belligerent dealings.
This is not the first issue I have had with them, but it will be the last, I can promise!

They have no idea what is happening and will give very general copy & past responses like We do apologies for the inconvenience caused. The server shutdown will last for 3 days. I draw the line when my site is hacked, and the reply is "we restarted the firewall and you won't face this problem anymore" Guess what, it still got hacked after less than 3 days. i've been with them for 4 years. 4 years of headache. i have the same bad experienced as the other people saying the same poor and disgusting service of 3iX. I scream almost everyday talking with their technical live suport and i'm so tired.
I'M SO PISSED-OFF AND DISAPPOINTED WITH 3iX SERVICE AND SUPPORT. VERY DANGEROUS HOSTING COMPANY.
I DON'T WANT YOU TO EXPERIENCE WHAT I HAD WITH THEM SO PLEASE,

I have hosted a website via 3ix for 5 years and couldn't wait to get away from then in the end. The service is intermittent and I was forever finding the site down and having to spend lots of time on the live chat. Now I repurchased the url only and want to transfer it to another company but have found without a hosting package it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to contact them and when i do get hold of someone via livechat they refuse to change the ips tag and repeatedly cut me off.
