I prepaid the 1 year premium service on Friday early morn. Within 1 hour of trying to get their desktop app to work I was kicked off for too many failed logins and unable to use the premium app for 24 hours. When I emailed cust service, they said just use the web. But thats what you get with the free service so what did I buy the premium service for? It is now Monday, was unable to log in over the weekend and I got on this morning for 15mins and was kicked again.

I am trying to use this kludge of a site. There is no context-specific help available. As a matter of fact, I can't find ANY help regarding what each function does. There is a "Add to Favorite Files" option on one of the pull-down lists. Where does these files go to? I am looking at someone else's 4shared account, and when I mark the file and click on the "Add to favorites" option...it doesn't go anywhere.
Can't find anything about this online. Their forum is anemic. I guess we just [...]

June 16, 2011 | I'm losing clients because 4 shared doesn't work and support is ridiculous. No phone to call. People barely read my emails when I have a problem and always say it's on my end.

It's like an abusive relationship. Customer service is a waste. I will send customer support a detailed email with problem and they write back something totally unrelated to my problem. Other times they answer one question and not others. Then several days later and 10 emails back and forth and they finally answer my question, but blame the problem on my computer. 50% of the time it takes me 5 tries to load or download a file. 4shared is really sleazy company. you sign up for 1 month and they try to charge you every month with auto renewal even though there is no mention of auto renewal on registration form.
stay away and use a reliable company located in US.
