My experience started out ok, but the level of customer service and system reliability has declined rapidly in the last 6 months, to the point where it's non-existent.
I am moving 22 domain names and 5 hostings (4 starter packages and 1 small business) away from Dothost in the next 5 days.
I have spent $1,890 with this alleged company, and I can't even get them on the phone.
My advice? Stay away from Dothost.

The situation is getting worse. Dothost is attempting to block or delay transfers by not unlocking domains, not sending EPP keys, and not forwarding the Transfer Confirmation emails.
We may have to call in InterNIC.

I am finally away from Dothost, and glad of it. Two of my associates also transferred away. We have all found better service at Godaddy. Not perfect, but far better.
Dothost failed to provide reliable spam filtering. They did not return phone calls or respond to emails with any degree of regularity.
On one occasion an incoming email sent one box over it's limit, with the result that ALL email service was suspended. There was no way to fix the problem, and it was necessary to remove [...]

I have tried to contact this company in the last two months, but to no avail. Their 800 number has been disconnected for the past sixty days. Their regular phone number has been answering with the message- this mailbox is full and can not accept anymore messages. I have opened up new accounts with another hosting company. 3 or 4 times a cycle my site and/or email goes down and it usually takes repeated efforts to get someone live. Up until this last week, eventually someone does get back to me and then we spend anywhere from 1 to 3 days fixing the problem. This time, I have been calling and emailing since Monday, it is now Wednesday. No answer, their message notes that their voice mail has been full since at least Monday. We are without mail and site for my husbands business...not good!
