I am a website designer and have many accounts with serversea. I have been a customer with them for many years. They used to be a good company, but the last year they have become terrible. They often have problems. Often my websites have become corrupt suddenly. It takes me weeks to correct the mess. They constantly claim no responsibility. They do not answer questions or support complaints properly.
There customer service is terrible. The have no contact information. No phone number, no email address. Live chat is never manned. The ticket system for complaints is answered with generic responses. Often I must repeat the same question again and again before I get a response even remotely related to my complaint. And again, it seems to be copied from a book and not directly helpful.
Here is a bit of their terms:
ServerSea reserves the right to cancel any account, including files and content, for any reason, or no reason at all, at any time....
Upon termination of a customer's account for any cause or reason whatsoever, neither party shall have any further rights or obligations under these terms of service...
And they enforce these terms. They have shut down two of my accounts suddenly and with no notice or explanation. No refund.
Sad, but they have turned into a very bad company.
