I signed on with Startlogic for a year thinking it was going to be a pleasant experience; I even bought the updated backup service they offer. Total $72.35
FIRST: their servers have gone down several times.
SECOND: when I called customer support to ask why their servers were down I got the basic we're sorry line. Okay, then I asked a basic question about using a certain part of their control panel they call Vdek and the girl couldn't answer the question and she told me that I should take my business somewhere else. Wrong answer! I told her maybe I'll just do that and I did!
THIRD: here's the kicker, I canceled within the allotted 30 day time period and when I tried to get my refund I was put on hold sometimes for over 10 minutes and each time I am told that I should expect a refund within the next 10 day's. What a bunch of crap, I first asked for my refund on July 8th. 2008 when I cancelled, today I was told the same story and that it would be another 7 to 10 days, It is now, August 28 2008. I would never recommend Startlogic to anyone!
As of this postin September 8th. 2008 I have yet to get a refund!
