I am only 16, and this is the first hosting account that I have had, that ive paid for. Before with hosting, I used to have a friend who could talk me through the stuff on the cPanel and domains ets. I host a couple of domains with WebHostingWorld. One that I use just for a family email address, and for that purpose they are fine.
Unfortunately, my other use is to have a backup site for my photographs - all JPG files with the occasional AVI recorded on my camera. Twice now I have uploaded approximately 20 Gb of data to their "unlimited" storage accounts, and after almost a week of uploading in each case, the entire site contents has been deleted.

Bad sides: it is impossible to restore/backup MSSQL database. Datacenter admins have low technical level. I sent them db backup, but they can not attach it correct - firstly they send me incorrect login/info, later they gave me correct info, but when I tried to connect, I got message 'user should change password' but I can not to do it due to limited premissions. The $1.00 per month price is a bargain, and I have experienced very few uptime issues. The only ongoing problem is their SMTP. I have found I am black listed with a number of mail servers in spite of MANY requests. This is almost certainly caused by users taking advantage of this cheap hosting and publishing dubious sites which exist purely to send out spam.
If webhostingworld would enforce some simple measures to stop spam being sent through their servers they would be the perfect hosting [...]

I opened a support ticket asking where my files were gone, the reply was: "We do not allow .rar files on our servers so it has been deleted by our admin while auditing the servers."
This is not written anywhere, not in the TOS, nor anywhere, this is simply insane, you are not allowed to host archive files (.zip and .rar), video [...]

I constantly get a Network Timeout, even after customer service had tried to add my local IP to their firewall exception list and other stuff they did I am not aware of.

I switched to WebhostingWorld.net after multiple issues with AT&T Hosting services. I am so pleased with WebhostingWorld.net that I am going to add another domain with them. WebhostingWorld.net makes it easy to configure your email accounts, set up an e-business, manage the php/mysql backend, and more importantly, they have never hindered my site with downtime. Very good price. Got their bronze plan to start out. Webhostingworld.net does not have 99.9 uptime, I used hyperspin, and it detected that my website is up 98.6-99.8%, I have never seen it be 99.9%.

But they do not give you any reasons when your site is automatically suspended nor do they email notify you of it. Sometimes, they do not even know what happened. I've had a few problems that I needed help with and was able to fix them within minutes of asking for help on most occasions. I didn't know what to expect when I bought my hosting account (with my free domain!) until less then 2 hours later when my domain was already up.
I guess I am use to NameServer changes taking forever, at least with my last domain that was. Webhostingworld is a very easy host to use and their features are just as abundant as anyone elses.Thanks Webhostingworld.net !!!

I have more disc space and bandwidth than I could ever use, unlimited email accounts, an extremely easy control panel. My last hosting company always rushed me off the tech support line. I like talking to someone and knowing they are taking care of the problem.

I have used GoDaddy, nativespace, fasthosts and easyspace.
They are superb in everything. Right now one of the support guys is sorting some php that is playing about for me.
There technical support is very good. Servers are very fast and price is amazing.

I've tried other hosting companies, and still keep some, but found that Webhostingworld is the best.

I signed up with Webhostingworld in Nov 2008 & have no complaints with them so far. I haven't had any problems with uptime (I've never seen or heard of my site being down), tech support, or billing.
It was easy to enroll & they were very helpful with getting started.
I think they offer very good website tools & customer service for a very reasonable price. I was paying a lot more before from a local host & getting no service at all.
I would highly recommend Webhostingworld !!!

i was fascinated by the little price and the big features, i have bought a reseller account on their servers and im complaining since i reserved my account since 3 months because of :
1-weak servers-cannot handle all ur requests,
2- short FTP timeout sessions.
3-no resume at broken uploads becuase of timeout,
4- unproperly configured servers,
5-bad technical support, you wait and wait on online chat and no one reponds
