France to Block Access to Child Porn - According to reports on Wednesday, in an effort to eliminate exposure to offensive online content, France has signed an agreement with Internet service providers to block online access to child pornography. Also being blacklisted under the agreement are websites linked to terrorism or promoting racial hatred.In a speech on fighting cybercrime, French Interior Minister Michele Alliot-Marie says the plan will take effect in September and involves all of France's ISPs."It is not a question of creating a Big Brother on the Internet," said Alliot-Marie during the news conference.
