    ICANN Solicits Public Comment on Single Character Name Allocation Framework - In response to community comment and interest, ICANN has developed a proposed allocation framework and use of funds from the allocation of single-character second-level domain names (SC SLDs) in existing gTLDs. ICANN is proposing an auction mechanism and disbursement of funds toward areas of public good for the Internet community.     Magyar Telekom Updates Data Center - Hungarian telecommunication group Magyar Telekom (magyartelekom.hu) has completed a 18 million euro expansion to its recently-bought subsidiary Dataplex's (dataplex.hu) 18,368 square-foot data center, making it one of the largest in Europe with more than 47,000 square feet. According to a report from Budapest-based news service Portfolio (portfolio.hu), the new wing took eight months to build and features environmentally-friendly features and sound insulation. Magyar Telekom offers fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services with nearly 4.9 million subscribers."Magyar Telekom Group has added data centre services to its portfolio after thorough preparation," company spokesperson György Simó told Portfolio.     Host Color Launches New Website - Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com), which recently added osTicket support to three of its shared hosting plans, announced on Friday that it has launched its new website that now more accurately reflects the company's "new model of providing web hosting services."     LeaseWeb Names Business Developer - The Netherlands web hosting provider LeaseWeb (www.leaseweb.com) announced on Wednesday it is expanding its Eastern Europe business development team by naming Emily Sampson the company's business developer.     ICANN Formalizes Relationship with ccTLD Managers for Peru and Hungary - ICANN has announced today that it has signed an accountability framework with the country code top level domain (ccTLD) manager for .pe - Peru, Red Científica Peruana. ICANN has also signed an exchange of letters with the ccTLD manager for .hu--Hungary, Magyarországi Internet Szolgáltatók Tanácsa Egyesület. The Accountability Framework program provides two mechanisms by which ccTLD managers can formalise their relationship with ICANN. The first is an Accountability Framework document that sets out the obligations of a ccTLD manager and ICANN. It also covers dispute resolution and termination and is designed for ccTLD managers requiring a formal document with ICANN.
