Latest webhosting industry news about Czech Republic Verio Most Reliable In July: Netcraft - Hosting service provider Verio (verio.net) was the most reliable hosting company site in July 2008, closely followed by European telecommunications company Tiscali (webhosting.tiscali.it), beating out Aplus (aplus.net) which fell from its top position last month, landing at 17, according to research and security firm Netcraft (netcraft.com). Verio had ranked number nine in June. Ensim Expands Reseller Network - Web hosting software provider Ensim (www.ensim.com) announced on Monday the addition of three new channel partners in Europe and Asia, some of which were former NetPro partners prior to its acquisition by Qwest Software in September. LeaseWeb Names Business Developer - The Netherlands web hosting provider LeaseWeb (www.leaseweb.com) announced on Wednesday it is expanding its Eastern Europe business development team by naming Emily Sampson the company's business developer. The appointment is aligned with LeaseWeb's plans to increase its market share in Eastern Europe, which is a major market for the web host. Czech ISP SuperNetwork Opens Prague Data Center - Czech republic-based Internet service provider SuperNetwork (www.supernetwork.cz) announced it recently opened its Datacamp (www.datacamp.cz) data center in the Prague 10 Malešice area. Featuring "modern technologies and timeless design, Datacamp meets even the highest cooling requirements, making it "a unique place to colocate clients' servers," according to the press release. SuperNetwork is offering a promotional server housing package called Super Bond service, which asigns two lines to each server. The promotion runs through the end of February. ICANN Formalizes Relationship with ccTLD Managers for Czech Republic and Kazakhstan - ICANN has announced today that it has signed accountability frameworks withthe country code top level domain (ccTLD) managers for .cz--Czech Republic,CZ-NIC, z.s.p.o. and .kz--Kazakhstan, Association of IT Companies ofKazakhstan. The Accountability Framework program provides two mechanisms by which ccTLDmanagers can formalise their relationship with ICANN. The first is anAccountability Framework document that sets out the obligations of a ccTLDmanager and ICANN. It also covers dispute resolution and termination and isdesigned for ccTLD managers requiring a formal document with ICANN. The second mechanism is an exchange of letters between ICANN and the ccTLDmanager designed for those for whom a simple statement of commitment is moreappropriate.
