UK domain registrar and Web hosting provider 123-reg (123-reg.co.uk) announced on Wednesday it has updated its Web site 123-support.co.uk (123-support.co.uk) to boost online support.


The new site now includes an extensive FAQ section, live information on system status and a personalized Q&A section where users can track the progress of their questions online.

123-reg says the new support site will help those that are new to domain names and Web hosting find their feet, while providing more advanced users with the information they need on subjects such as dedicated servers and search engine optimization. In addition, the Web site will provide step-by-step guides, tutorials and the ability to create a Web site in minutes using 123-reg's Instant Site, says the company.

"Our new hosting and support site www.123-support.co.uk, does more than answer customers' technical questions, it's a one stop guide for Web hosting and domain names," says Mark Beyer, sales and marketing director at 123-reg. "The new FAQ section is already pretty extensive, but we want to make it even better, so are inviting customers to submit their own questions. In time, we believe it will be the most sophisticated, yet intuitive, Web hosting support resource on the Web."
