WestHost Upgrades Hosting Plans May 17, 2007
Web hosting provider WestHost (westhost.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched a major upgrade to its hosting systems.

Under development for over a year, the new platform, based on RedHat ES 4, introduces substantial performance and reliability enhancements, says WestHost, in particular quality of service technology guarantees each hosting account a fair share of server processing power to ensure reliable Web site responsiveness. Also a more user-friendly site manager combines a new graphically appealing interface with a simplified navigation scheme, says the company.

"We carefully listened to our client base in implementing changes to site manager, along with targeting our performance improvements," says Chris Russell, CEO of WestHost. "In addition, the new platform allows WestHost to remain at the industry forefront, offering the latest solutions at the best possible value to our clients."

Hosting plans on the new platform are available now with personal hosting plans starting at $3.95 per month and business hosting plans beginning at $7.95 per month.
