Hivelocity Partners with SWsoft Sep 28, 2007
Web hosting provider Hivelocity (hivelocity.net) announced on Friday that it has reached Gold Partner status with server automation and virtualization provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) by offering SWsoft Plesk and Virtuozzo hosting solutions as part of its dedicated server offerings.


Hivelocity says it intends to continue its leadership in the dedicated hosting space with competitive VPS offerings that provide customers with new levels of value. The company says it will launch its VPS hosting solutions based on Virtuozzo within the next few weeks.

"We are pleased to see Hivelocity reach the Gold Partner level and continue their track record of differentiation with competitive SWsoft Plesk and Virtuozzo software solutions," says Kurt Daniel, VP of marketing and alliances for SWsoft. "With these solutions and through our OPEN FUSION initiative, Hivelocity will be able to optimize the delivery of software as a service and traditional hosting services to take advantage of emerging market opportunities."

In the past couple of weeks, SWsoft has gained considerable attention with three separate, key product acquisitions, strengthening its position in automation tools and increasing its market share beyond the 130,000 servers and 600,000 desktops it serves worldwide.
