The Web Marketing Association's annual WebAwards are highly coveted by Web designers and developers and distinguish the best-of-the-best in the industry, says Freewebs. Now in its 11th year, the annual WebAward competition received nominations from 2,400 sites from 40 countries in 96 industry categories and entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology.
"We are thrilled to be recognized by the Web Marketing Association for this prestigious award," says Haroon Mokhtarzada, CEO of Freewebs. "Great design and usability are integral parts of our effort to remain the absolute best personal publishing platform on the Web."
