FatCow Helps Fight Breast Cancer Oct 19, 2007
Web hosting provider FatCow Web Hosting (fatcow.com) announced on Friday it is participating in the "Pink for October" program. The event brings attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which raises awareness of the issue and money for research.


During October, FatCow will donate $1 from each sale of its Web site hosting solution, The FatCow, to help the American Cancer Society's efforts to fight breast cancer. Website and blog owners involved in the Pink for October program redesign their sites so that they are pink for October.

"We are very proud and pleased to be able to participate in such a good cause," says Jean McCarthy, FatCow's senior director of marketing. "Our team cares a lot about women's issues. This cause means a lot to our staff members, some of whom have close, personal stories about how breast cancer has impacted the people in their lives, and we know the American Cancer Society is a great organization to stand behind."
