Use submit form for hosting news!| Emerson Holds Data Center Conference Oct 26, 2007 | Emerson Network Power (gotoemerson.com), a division of technological engineering leader Emerson, announced on Tuesday the plans for its AdaptiveXchange 2007 (ax.liebert.com) conference, scheduled to run from November 29 to 30 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Emerson says AdaptiveXchange 2007 will provide an interactive forum for IT, data center and facilities managers to collaboratively identify best practices in managing the vital data centers that power today's online economy, particularly in the face of rapid and unpredictable change. This year's event, themed "Way to be Ready," features 28 technical sessions, 85,000 square feet of exhibit space, and an industry panel on practical approaches to reducing data center energy consumption.
In his keynote address, Bob Bauer, group VP of Emerson, will discuss the major issues affecting data centers of all sizes and will reveal strategies and technologies that create dynamic data centers capable of quickly responding to change. A panel of industry experts will also explore the impact of rising energy costs on data center operations. TechUniversity sessions will also analyze specific technologies and practices, such as managing critical data center needs within the rack and flexible architectures for UPS systems.
"Business success in today's networked world can depend on the flexibility of data center IT systems to accommodate changes in strategy, technology or market dynamics," says Bauer. "AdaptiveXchange gives attendees the opportunity to evaluate and understand emerging technologies, best-in-class practices and business strategies that are being used today to increase the flexibility, availability and efficiency of these critical facilities."
