Use submit form for hosting news!| CrystalTech Offers 64-bit Servers Nov 1, 2007 | Web hosting provider CrystalTech Web Hosting (crystaltech.com) announced on Thursday it is offering a new line of Windows and Linux dedicated server plans which features Intel based Dual and Quad-Core processors on a server standard Intel 64-bit infrastructure.
CrystalTech provides Web hosting services on 64-bit servers with Windows Server 2008 Release Candidate, currently available from Microsoft. The new dedicated Linux plan will feature CentOS 5 along with the latest versions of Apache, PHP and MySQL.
"The move to multi-core processors places CrystalTech at the forefront of server technology and will offer customers fast, reliable and energy-efficient performance that can handle data and processor-intensive Web applications," says Robert Cichon, president of CrystalTech. "Our new dedicated servers not only provide tremendous power, but also one of the most highly anticipated operating systems from Microsoft."
