FastNext Upgrades .NET and ROR Dec 19, 2007
Web hosting provider FastNext (www.fastnext.com) announced on Tuesday that it is offering customers new versions of frameworks, .NET and Ruby on Rails. Customers can upgrade their Windows hosting plans with Microsoft .NET 3.5 framework and Rails 2.0.

Released a few weeks ago, Rails 2.0's framework includes thousand of improvements including updates for Action Pack (Resources, Multiview, Record identification, Security), for Action Mailer and for Active Record (Performance, Foxy fixtures), enhanced ActiveSupport, new debugger and easier plugin order.

The framework also features hundreds of bug fixes, tweaks and enhancements. All FastNext customers can get Rails 2.0 installed on request for free.

"We are convinced that our clients should have all up-to-date software they need," says Serge Riabchuk, FastNext CEO. "So we couldn't deprive them the opportunity to use the advantages of the long-awaited framework updates."

FastNext announced last week it offering a standalone Web design service with coding.
