U2K Offers Christmas Promotions Dec 20, 2007
UK Web hosting provider UK2 (uk2.net) announced on Monday it is offering multiple Christmas promotions, including three free domain names when customers sign up for an annual contract of its Plus Web hosting plan.


The Web host has also partnered with nonprofit organization, World Vision, for its "Buy A Server, Give A Goat" promotion. Throughout December, UK2 will donate a goat to an African village each time a customer buys  a Gold or Platinum server or a quarterly or annual Bronze or Silver server.

UK2 customers can enter UK2's Christmas Competition to win different prizes including an Apple MacBook Pro.

"We believe that they are very attractive to our customers and spread the festive spirit," says Ditlev Bredahl, UK2 CEO. "Our competition is fun and will has some wonderful prizes, the free domains add a little extra sparkle to our best selling Web hosting package, and with our 'Buy a Server, Give a Goat' promotion we can give something back to communities that are much less fortunate than ourselves."

In October, UK2 teamed up with IT security solutions provider Comodo to offer its dedicated server customers unlimited, free SSL certificates.
