SherWeb Launches Exchange 2007 SP1 web hosting news |

Use submit form for hosting news!| SherWeb Launches Exchange 2007 SP1 Feb 7, 2008 | Canadian Web hosting provider SherWeb (sherweb.com) announced on Wednesday that it has launched Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 service pack 1. This offering introduces many new features both on the server side as well as on the client side, enhancing the overall Exchange customer experience, says the company.
SherWeb says SP1 helps small to medium-sized businesses with the overall migration from their old Exchange platform to SherWeb's Hosted Exchange 2007 infrastructure by providing the ability to import Outlook .pst files directly to the Exchange server.
Exchange ActiveSync and Outlook Web Access have also been enhanced in Exchange Server 2007 SP1. Exchange Active Sync now provides support for HTML messages, follow-up flags and quick message retrieval, enhanced Exchange search, SharePoint services and direct push. While Outlook Web Access now enables users to create and edit personal distribution lists, access the trash bin and use the recover deleted items feature, view daily, monthly and weekly calendars and comes with WebReady Document Viewing, which translates an attached document into HTML so it can be viewed as a Web page.
