Aplus.Net Rebrands Dedicated Plans Feb 12, 2008
Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Monday that it has rebranded its line of dedicated hosting servers.

The company says that the change involves a shift to a more hardware-based naming system, with the names of Aplus.Net's dedicated hosting plans now based on each server's CPU: Single-Core Servers, Multi-Core Servers and Multi-Processor Servers.

This rebranding move represents the latest in Aplus.Net's campaign to overhaul not only its dedicated hosting plans but also its entire suite of products and services to better position the company in an increasingly competitive marketplace, says the company.

"As with our efforts in rebranding our shared hosting services last month, we're taking the necessary steps to ensure that our consumers understand exactly what they're getting when they shop for an Aplus.Net dedicated server," says Ryan Elledge, Aplus.Net's chief operations officer. "That means more clearly defining the way our servers are named, categorized, and presented on our website."

Earlier this month, Aplus.Net reduced the pricing for its line of dedicated servers.
