Use submit form for hosting news!| Consonus Names Client Solutions Lead May 1, 2008 | Data center operator and managed IT services provider Consonus Technologies (consonus.com) announced on Thursday it has hired James Edwards in the role of client solutions lead for the company's western region. He will be based at Consonus' Salt Lake City, Utah office.
Edwards brings to Consonus an extensive technical background in information security, managed services, systems support and corporate network implementations.
He served as senior systems engineer with Canon Business Systems, formerly known as Uinta Business Systems. As a certified information systems security professional, Edwards will engage in pre-sales solution engineering and play an active role in assisting Consonus' sales staff with driving new solutions business.
Consonus Technologies provides IT infrastructure, data center, and managed services solutions based in Cary, North Carolina. The company is in the midst of experiencing rapid growth after Consonus and Strategic Technologies merged in January 2007 to form the present Cononus Technologies.
The company says it is currently trying to position itself as a national leader in the design, implementation, hosting and managing of high-availability data center solutions. More recently, Consonus opened its newest data center in the Salt Lake area in April.
