Use submit form for hosting news!| 1&1 Offers Free Exchange Email Jun 3, 2008 | UK domain registrar and web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (1and1.co.uk) announced on Tuesday it is offering the first three months free on its MS Exchange email package for all new MS Exchange customers, from now through June 30.
The offering includes MS Outlook 2007 software and 1GB email storage, while 1&1's MS Exchange package offers users seamless email communication and advanced collaboration features.
1&1 says its latest MS Exchange package, priced from £5.99 per month plus VAT, offers a high performance email solution for both home and business users.
The package includes a 1GB Exchange account, group functionality tools, such as public calendars, contacts, discussions and task management, and email features such as Outlook 2007 software, 'push' service for mobile functionality via ActiveSync, email auto-responders and Symantec Mail Security anti-virus protection.
Email can also be sent and received from any Internet-connected computer via the Outlook Web Access interface, which is available with any browser. The 1&1 MS Exchange Premium package costs £9.99 per month plus VAT and features a 2GB mailbox.
The web host says it delivers a highly reliable email service, handling more than five billion emails a month. All 1&1 email plans include SPAM protection, free round the clock express support and 60 day money back guarantee.
Owned by United Internet, 1&1 is considered the largest web host in Europe, as well as one of the largest web hosts in the world. It reached its 10 million domain name mark in March, and has 47,000 servers running in its five data centers.
Last month, Oliver Mauss became the new 1&1 CEO and chairman of the board after Andreas Gauger unexpectedly resigned from the positions after 13 years.
