Use submit form for hosting news!| Imperva Tools Protect Peoplesoft Data Jul 14, 2008 | Data security provider Imperva (imperva.com) has extended its ADC Insights product line to monitor and protect PeopleSoft (peoplesoft.com) applications and data, helping more firms be regulation compliant without needing familiarity with the applications or mandates.
ADC Insights, which currently supports enterprise applications SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite, announced Monday it is breaking new ground by supporting PeopleSoft Enterprise applications by software developer Oracle (oracle.com). Using Imperva's data security and compliance solution, SecureSphere, ADC Insights configures SecureSphere to automatically monitor and protect PeopleSoft-based infrastructure and data.
PeopleSoft Enterprise applications are designed to address complex business requirements, enabling organizations to significantly improve performance, seamlessly integrate web services into a heterogeneous applications environment, attracting clients as diverse as Staffmark (staffmark.com), Dakota State University (cresh.net) and Air New Zealand (airnewzealand.com).Staffing and workforce solutions provider Staffmark selected SecureSphere to safeguard its PeopleSoft-based web applications according to senior PeopleSoft systems analyst Bradlee Harmon. "SecureSphere is currently keeping our PeopleSoft applications and data secure from web attacks, without requiring us to manually create security policies. This has been a big timesaver," said Harmon in a statement.
ADC Insights, including PeopleSoft Insights, is currently available for the Imperva SecureSphere Database Security Gateway as a licensed add-on module. The price is based on how many SecureSphere applications are in use and the selected support options.
