Use submit form for hosting news!| SpiralHost Joins R1Soft Program Aug 8, 2008 | European Web hosting provider SpiralHost (spiralhost.com) announced on Friday it has joined R1Soft's (r1soft.com) Hosting Partner Program, enabling the company to receive special benefits for R1Soft's data backup solution, Continuous Data Protection.
SpiralHost currently offers Continuous Data Protection to all customers as a free value-added service under the name Rest Easy. The data protection technology from R1Soft enables companies to provide real-time backup of data, helping to eliminate the threat of data loss in the event of a disaster.
In February, R1Soft launched R1HPP, which provides R1Soft partners with volume discounts, 50 percent off MySQL add-ons, professional public relations services and other brandable marketing materials.
SpiralHost will now be able to access priority technical support from R1Soft, different sales and marketing resources, and expert assistance on effectively deploying the data protection solution.
"With R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection, we are able to affordably deliver on our promise to do everything we can to safeguard our customers' data," says Greg Bales, managing director of SpiralHost. "Our Rest Easy data protection service has already proven to be an enormous success and we look forward to offering continually more competitive solutions as the needs of our customers change in time."
Rest Easy data protection includes three separate backup schedules for each shared hosting account. Weekly backups store eight restore points for two months, daily backups store 14 restore points for two weeks, and hourly backups store 48 restore points for two days.
