Use submit form for hosting news!| Keynote's KITE Launch Sees Success Sep 19, 2008 | On-demand test and measurement solutions provider Keynote Systems (keynote.com) announced on Friday that the launch of its Keynote Internet Testing Environment has been met with success, with more than 1,000 users downloading the product in the first month of its early adopter program.
Launched on August 14, KITE 2.0's early adopter program enables web development, quality assurance and web operations teams to test Web 2.0 sites and applications from their desktops.
"We're hearing great feedback from the early adopters who are facing new performance challenges as Web 2.0 applications become more sophisticated and cloud computing more pervasive," says Rajeev Kutty, product manager at Keynote. "Now, our customers have a tool that allows them to face these challenges and solve performance issues directly from their desktop, no matter where in the world the problem resides."
Using KITE, Web developers, QA professionals, and performance analysts are able to generate rapid performance data about the performance of their Web applications.
The software has allowed users to run Web transaction scripts in real time from multiple cities, enabling various groups to participate in the application management lifecycle.
By working collaboratively to establish performance benchmarks either pre-application deployment or after deployment, these users are able to resolve performance problems throughout the application management lifecycle.
