The new managed dedicated servers include a range of new features, including the ability to connect to WiredTree's private internal network. The network offers free, unmetered traffic between WiredTree servers, as well as access to additional services, including network backups, network attached storage, DNS resolvers and premium server monitoring solutions.
Managed dedicated servers are available in single or dual processors, powered by either AMD or Intel hardware. A hybrid dedicated server, which synergizes enterprise-level hardware specifications with small to medium sized business software requirements, is also being offered.
"The managed hosting sector is a growing component of the hosting industry, but ultimately, it has been significantly underserved," says Zac Cogswell, WiredTree president. "As a highly experienced provider, we understand exactly what needs to be done to meet its ever-changing needs and requirements. Our product offerings today really reflect that knowledge." | Reads: 651 | Category: General | Source: TheWHIR : Web Host Industry Reviews URL source: http://www.thewhir.com/marketwatch/011907_WiredTree_Introduces_New_Servers.cfm
