123-reg says about 47 percent of mobile phones in Europe are Internet enabled, offering a growing opportunity to create content that mirrors branding on traditional Web sites.
"The Internet is no longer confined to users on their PCs. Users are increasingly enjoying content on the move through their mobile phones," says Mark Beyer, sales and marketing director at 123-reg. "With .mobi, we're offering companies the ability to augment their existing online brands with a mobile offering. As the UK's biggest domain name registration company, we're making it even easier for customers to buy and manage new addresses using our new intuitive control panel."
