Use submit form for hosting news!| Credit Union Deploys Comodo Solution Aug 14, 2006 | Internet security and identity solutions provider Comodo (comodo.com) announced on Friday that non-profit organization Apple Federal Credit Union has selected Comodo's VerificationEngine to protect members from phishing and pharming attacks.
In addition, Apple FCU will use other elements of Comodo's flagship Secure and Authenticated Financial Engagements Solution including SSL certificates, email certificates and HackerGuardian to increase verification and security in online banking for Apple members.
Apple FCU selected Comodo as its authentication partner because Comodo's credentials and expertise as a Certification Authority uniquely qualify it to deliver new technology for ensuring mutual authentication.
"The VerificationEngine solution that Comodo has introduced provides our members with a truly user-friendly authentication solution that allows them to conduct online transactions confidently," says Juan Batista, vice president of IT at Apple FCU. "In today's digital world, online fraud is dampening our members' adoption of online financial services.
