VeriCenter Reports Surge in 2005 Feb 7, 2006

Web hosting provider VeriCenter (vericenter.com) reported its revenues for 2005 last week, announcing an increase of 32 percent compared to the previous year.

VeriCenter said its revenues for the fourth quarter of 2005 totaled 14.4 million, up 35 percent year-over-year and 11 percent from the previous quarter. Revenues for all of 2005 amounted to $50.3 million, an increase of 32 percent over its 2004 revenues of $38.1 million.

During 2005, Vericenter added 115 new customers and acquired enterprise hosting provider Agiliti, picking up a 10,000 square-foot data center in the deal. The company's rapid growth was recognized by the Houston Business Journal and Inc. magazine.

"2005 was our first year to reach the $50 million revenue plateau," said Gray Hall, president and CEO of VeriCenter. "During the year we completed our third major acquisition, integrated our expanded operations, and accelerated our rate of organic growth across our larger national footprint of data centers and managed services operations."
