Aplus.Net has committed to donating $1 from every sale that is made during the month of September to the Red Cross Katrina relief efforts. It typically makes thousands of small-ticket item sales in a given month.
As a service provider that caters to small businesses, Aplus.Net feels a connection with the many small businesses that have been affected by this disaster. It hopes that some of its donations will reach these victims, as well as all others who are in need.
"We will accumulate our contribution during September and make our donation at a time when aid traditionally starts pouring in more slowly," says Ivan Vachovsky, CEO of Aplus.Net. "It is very important to keep the contributions going even after some time has passed.
