Use submit form for hosting news!| Macromedia, Mirror Image Stream Flash Jan 10, 2005 | Content delivery solution provider Mirror Image Internet (mirror-image.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with Macromedia (macromedia.com) to release the Macromedia Flash Video Streaming Service.
Mirror Image says the partnership will enable it to offer live and on-demand streaming media services to the Macromedia Flash Player. Content publishers will be able to use the service to easily deliver Flash video through Mirror Image's Content Access Point network.
According to Mirror Image, using the Flash Player to deliver video will allow Mirror Image customers to offer users richer content and higher levels of interactivity.
"As an increasing number of our advertising, media and entertainment customers are moving to integrate streaming video to dramatically increase online interaction with their end users, partnering with Macromedia was a natural step," says Jeffrey Schutzman, vice president, global sales and marketing, Mirror Image.
