Aplus.Net Launches Web Conferencing Nov 25, 2004
Web hosting provider Aplus.Net (aplus.net) announced on Wednesday that it has launched e/pop Web Conferencing, a browser-based Web conferencing service. The company said the service, provided through a partnership with WiredRed Software (wiredred.com), simplifies online conferencing, allowing users to access the service through their Web browsers.

E/pop Web Conferencing is available in a turnkey plan and does not require setup. Aplus.Net will provide a dedicated server, software and bandwidth for each conferencing customer, in addition to 24-hour support. The company said it will not charge for the many other extra options that come with the service.
"The e/pop Web Conferencing service has all the features of industry leaders like WebEx and sells for a fraction of the price," says Ivan Vachovsky, CEO of Aplus.Net. "It is a part of our commitment to provide the best technologies for an affordable price to our customers."
The conferencing software, Aplus.Net says, delivers high levels of audio and visual quality and includes permission settings and meeting controls for meeting chairs. Caching functionality, which creates immediate "page turning" on PowerPoint presentations, enhances the real-time aspect of e/pop Web Conferencing.
"With our technology, Web conferencing is like meeting in person," says says Steven Peltier, chief executive officer of WiredRed Software. "Aplus.Net has taken it to the next level, providing complete Web and desktop video conferencing to companies of all sizes, even those without a full-time IT staff."
