Use submit form for hosting news!| UK Betting Sites Taken Offline Oct 22, 2004 | A pair of prominent British betting sites, Tote and Sporting Bet, experienced simultaneous outages on Thursday, according to research and analysis firm Netcraft (netcraft.com).
Tote was offline for more than eight hours, while Sporting Bet was down for three hours.
The cause of the outage was not reported. However, it is suspected that the attack is likely the work of online extortionists.
