Charlotte Checkers Pick Peak 10 Hosting Oct 14, 2004
Data center and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Wednesday that it has entered into a marketing and services agreement with the Charlotte Checkers, a minor league affiliate of the national Hockey League's New York Rangers. Under the deal, Peak 10 will provide a backup and data storage solution for team's official Web site out of its data center facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"With Internet usage now an important part of every day life, technology infrastructure, specifically Websites have become a key communication vehicle between sports franchises, leagues and their fans," says Pat O'Brien, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Charlotte. "Our facility and engineering and support teams company-wide are able to ensure that these important communication vehicles are always available and providing loyal fans with up-to-date information."
Other sports and entertainment organizations such as the Outback Bowl, Durham Bulls, ATP Tour and the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed on for Peak 10 services in recent months.
