The SitePal speaking character platform from Oddcast (oddcast.com) is a personalization and conversion tool that is easy for SMBs to understand and use. The solution enables SMBs to rapidly customize and deploy a virtual spokesperson, salesperson or customer service rep to their Web site, helping companies to boost their traffic, site stickiness and conversions.
Thousands of SMBs pay a monthly subscription fee for SitePal, which can provide hosting partners with over $100 of additional annual revenue per subscriber. Web tools, domain and hosting services Bravenet (bravenet.com) has been offering the SitePal solution to its growing base of professional members for over six months. The service typically signs up 4,000 new SitePal customers per month.
"So far it's been really successful, and we're looking to expand to as many hosting partners as possible," says Kelly Roman, director of business development for Oddcast, creators of SitePal. "We have a great audience of hosting companies and related services, so we're looking to partner with the hosting provider and the companies they serve."
